My specific unit in Calypso was pretty bad - it was so dirty (floors, stains all over the couches and chairs, dust and dirt in every corner and on every surface, trash in dresser drawers), everything was run down, a lot of broken things (toilet, light, door lock), it was super noisy, there were no dish towels or pot holders or even a welcome envelope for us with the bracelets for the beach and pool. Any area that restricts this activity by requiring the presence of the owner or imposing very strict zoning laws is not an ideal short-term rental market.
